Week has been slightly crazy so I missed posting, BUT I have a few for today before the weekend ahead. While spending my day
addictively pinning on pinterest working very hard at my job, I came across this funny post and decided I needed to share. For those dogs or cat (or perhaps bird or other small animal) lovers alike that allow your animals on your bed this will apply to you. If you don’t like animals on your bed I suggest you not try it because you will love them so much that they will indeed never leave no matter how many times you tell them. Don’t believe me? Ask my husband.
He learned first hand, with our first dog Bruno he is almost too short to jump on the bed. Generally he likes cool tile floors to carpet so he prefers the floor. Hankerton is where Josh was alright with the bed. Hank is tall enough where jumping from the ground over a 4 foot tall fence is no problem( no running start) so the bed is no problem. Hank is good about going to his bed when its time and then sneaking up on the edge of our bed around 1 a.m. and then slowly taking over one side if the bottom of the bed. Josh of course didn’t like this but what can ya do? So Hank is classified as “the watchful guardian.”
Newt is only 6 months old and the day we got her Josh called her onto the bed and petted her. His mistake, and as she happily leaped onto the comforter and I warned him that she would never leave. Every evening as we head to the bedroom she jumps to the bed and lays there all cute. Looking up at you with these eyes that just say “can I please stay here and cuddle you?” She listens as Josh gets her down and puts her in her bed but she returns as we sleep even before Hank in the wee hours of the morning.. and Newt is everything but “the watchful guardian.” In fact, she is every single one (excluding the guardian Hank still keeps his place by the end of the bed) and when you have a full bed and two people and TWO dogs things can get a little crowded.
Has a person who freezes personally I don’t mind the extra heat… Josh on the other hand… 🙂
Here’s the chart for you to compare your animals too. Please comment and lets us know what kind of animals you have and if it has a go to position on your bed or follows its own all together!
